Job Description:
We are hiring for a Plant Manager at our H2Oil Disposal & Recovery plant located in Andrews, Texas. The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the plant, including meeting production goals, establishing policies and procedures and fostering a well-trained and motivated staff.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills who is capable of leadership by example. A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Operations is required, with a preferred background in the Oil & Gas industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work cooperatively with the Permian Operations Manager & other employees to ensure the plant is operating in an efficient and effective manner
- Anticipates potential problems and develops plans to prevent crises
- Proactively recommend services needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction & improve transaction profitability
- Review financial statements, sales & activity reports, and other performance data in order to measure productivity
- Evaluate financial & operating goals; recommend changes to the Permian Operations Manager if needed
- Direct preventative & emergency maintenance to ensure compliance with plant operations
- Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned:
- Maintains a qualified staff
- Communicates areas of accountability and performance expected of personnel assigned
- Recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and terminations
- Ensures proper training of personnel assigned
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working environment to maximize employee morale and productivity
- Develops individuals for future advancement
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations
- Comply with OSHA Safety & Health rules, and Company Guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
Minimum Job Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Operations experience
- Oil & Gas experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Excellent Customer Service and Conflict Resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to take initiative and think creatively
- Must be self-motivated and able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision

Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with accounting a plus, especially familiarity with budgets & financial reporting

- High-speed rotating equipment operations

- Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram interpretation
Work Environment:
- Work in normal office, treatment facility, refinery, and field environments.
- May be exposed to hazardous substances, fumes, dust, and extremes in weather.
- Personal protection equipment is required in many areas.
