Job Description:

Immediate opening for an experienced and motivated Field Sales Representative to support Operations.  The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who is a creative problem solver and excels at building relationships. The position is very hands-on, results-oriented, and requires a person who will be motivated to do what it takes to make the company successful and meet corporate growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Main relationship manager of established and potential customers.  Maintain communication with customers at all times.
  • Align local sales strategies with overall sales strategies and company goals to develop new customers
  • Active lead generation through various methods including research and cold calling
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Assess new business opportunities
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Present and sell company services to current and potential clients
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all service lines
  • Negotiate strategic alliances and major contracts
  • Collaborate with Operations teams on all projects to achieve continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to create proposals
  • Create and present sales presentations to prospects and complete contract analysis.
  • Primarily responsible for closing the deal
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Consultants, Field Supervisors, and Operations staff
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and customer training events
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Daily communication with the Sales and Operations team
  • Special projects as assigned

Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years Oil & Gas related experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Engineering or Chemical degree preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • Extensive travel to field and other areas required
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Fracturing and waste water knowledge strongly preferred
  • Data analysis and research as needed
